Lauren E. MacKay is a founding partner of MacKay & Martin, LLP. Her practice focuses exclusively on family law, including high-conflict divorce and child custody litigation and settlement.
In the year 2018 alone, Ms. MacKay handled several dozen divorce and child custody matters, obtaining favorable results through both litigation and settlement. As she steadily advanced as a junior and senior associate, her heart was always set on branching out and starting her own firm. In 2018, she partnered with Edlin Martin, an attorney with a similar vision of how to operate a modern law firm, and together the team found MacKay & Martin, LLP.
To achieve the best results, Lauren uses a variety of advanced litigation techniques, both in and out of the courtroom. She is very mindful of the benefits of preserving her clients’ financial resources and delicate family ties and, therefore, strives to favorably settle issues and cases when possible. But if trial is the only option, her opponents know that Lauren is a skilled and formidable opponent, with a stellar record of wins in the courtroom.
